In a recent address commemorating the anniversary of the Iranian Constitution, Dr. Eshaghi highlighted the Leader's remarks that the Iranian Constitution is a progressive and advanced document, meeting or even exceeding international standards, saying, “The Leader's emphasis on the Constitution's alignment with global norms, while not the sole criterion, underscores its modernity and comprehensiveness.”
He explained that any violation of the Constitution is essentially a violation of the revolution itself, underscoring the document's fundamental role in the Islamic Republic.
Eshaghi called for all branches of government to adhere to the Constitution and ensure its implementation in all aspects of governance.
He delved into the Leader's perspective on freedom, highlighting the distinction between Western and Islamic understandings. “While Western conceptions of freedom often prioritize individual desires and social contracts, Islamic thought views freedom as a fundamental human right rooted in nature.”
Conference on “People’s Rights and Legitimate Freedoms” in Thoughts of Ayatollah Khamenei in slated to be held on December 3, 2025. The event will be held with the aim of studying Ayatollah Khamenei’s Seerah and thoughts regarding people’s rights and legitimate freedoms, outlining an ideal system of people’s rights and legitimate freedoms grounded in the intellectual foundations of Ayatollah Khamenei’s thoughts and ensuring the protection and promotion of people’s rights and legitimate freedoms based on Ayatollah Khamenei’s thoughts.
